He has a full torso tattoo that ends around his thighs, he's rarely clean shaven and he puts a truck-load of hair gel in his hair every morning. He considers himself to be pretty cool, which is why he wears his shirt with the sleeves rolled up (to show off his tats, obviously) and a skinny, black tie along with skinny jeans and big ol' combat boots. He usually jumps into situations without really thinking about the consequences, and he's... kind of masochistic, too. ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS: He'll go with anyone. SEXUAL RELATIONS: Seriously, anyone that'll have him, he's totally there. PHYSICAL CONTACT: Anyone. Anything. Everything. Yes. ANY TRIGGERS/SECRETS/FACTS YOU WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT: He most likely has Borderline Personality, which means he goes through mood swings, has a tendency to label people quickly and has barely any social awareness. He doesn't really care about people, and he certainly doesn't care what anyone thinks about him. Newt is (and has always been) obsessed with all things monster related, and has been since a kid. Has a genuine interest in the Kaiju and he wants to learn absolutely everything he can about them before they're eliminated. He has six PHDs, and he's the youngest teacher MIT has ever had. He's always been a genius, and he's not above flaunting his intelligence in front of others. Newt can be incredibly difficult to get along with, as he doesn't really have much time for people beyond those he already associates with - without Hermann at his side to bother and ridicule, he tends towards being alone, which generally suits him well enough. He's argumentative, and he will fight for what he believes to be right. He also tries to one-up Hermann constantly, though that's likely due to their complicated and somewhat competitive relationship more than anything else. He acts younger than he is, his mannerisms are entirely ridiculous and he, in turn, is also entirely ridiculous. Newt tries to hard to be a rockstar; it's almost his mantra, this pipe dream of his - his hatred of the lab coat stereotype scientists have, he's pushed himself to extremes in order to avoid that connotation at all costs (by dressing 'rockier', by covering himself in tattoos, by wearing hipster glasses and having messy hair - he does everything within his power to appear cool as opposed to nerdy).
